Mantle Close to Done

Mantle_close_whole I finally started to unpack my books and stuff. Here's what I did with the faux fireplace. Wendy Jo calls it a giant version of one of my collage boxes. I call it a mantle. More of this and I should be a bit happier. Also, bought a couch. That tomorrow.

Yes, I bought that lamp one day in New York. I was about to go work at domino and I walked past an open studio in Times Square--very unlikely neighborhood for a lamp studio. I saw the lamp and fell in love. It's a bit askew from the move, but I will fix it eventually!
